stjohnIn a new venture, trombone poetry turned up in a Bethnal Green church, to be (with) Bitten by a Monkey. That remarkable trio of improvisers, Dylan Bates, Roland Bates and Steve Myers brandished recorders, and this and that, in the peeling splendour of St John on Bethnal Green.

A clutch of new aphoristic poems was offered to the devout assembly, and the trombone was lured into the ensemble to round off the evening.
