A combination of poor note-taking and amnesia led to the shameful omission of Zolan Quobble from Lurca’s roll-call. As ever, Mr Quobble’s poetry and performance thereof were outstanding, and we hope to appear in the same building again as soon as possible.

this is just to say hiow much I enjoyed your album Speech,which has only just come my way via a fellow trombonist-it particularly touched a chors as i knew and woerked with Bert Murray!

Thanks for your support, Michael. I’m too stubborn to give up now. You’ve no idea how many unhinged schemes are bobbing around in my head.

I’m an Australian trombonist who has tried to do what you do –largely unsuccessfully by my own standards.
Having played most ‘brands’ of ‘bone related music: N.O.to BOP/Orch. to Concert Band/20′s ORK to Big Band/
Rock to Reggae/Funk to Fiction/ Free to ‘Electric’ Oblivion , Etc,etc—–I take GREAT heart in what you do ! !—- PLEASE DON’T STOP ’til you’re Dead,Man(blues)
