Trombonicle 3 / Ronnie’s

Most of the trombone poetry action last month took the form of behind-the-scenes scheming and scribbling, with the odd tweet thrown in.

Click Beetle, the trio with Paul Hookham and Ayo Akintonwa, found a potential new niche in Archway Road, in the wine cellar of Zelas Wines where there are performances every Friday evening. Well worth a visit (especially next month, when there will be a solo trombone poetry show on the 13th).

This trombone was at the heart of a musical maelstrom at Ronnie Scott’s when Snowboy & The Latin Section played three sold-out shows to launch the new album, New York Afternoon. Visit the revamped site for more about it, including the vinyl release and future gigs.
