A bout of broadcasting, or narrowcasting, kicked off the month, when trombone poetry could be heard contributing to Tongue and Groove on Resonance FM. Mark Bedford and Simon Charterton of The Near Jazz Experience discussed words and music, and the show is now in an online archive.
Treading the boards at The Montague Arms, trombone poetry played an opening set before being vastly out-noised by Warren Schoenbright, and Mai & Ampersand. DJ Dumb Blonde graced the gaps, and Dave Eyre festooned us with projections (see photo). We must do it again someday.
