Trombonicle 15 / Jen Kearney

We emerge from the blows and blowouts of winter with new ventures afoot, including a mumble on radio.

The autumn brought a spectacular UK tour with Snowboy & The Latin Section, featuring Jen Kearney, who was so taken with our crumbling country that she has moved here. Look out for some amazing gigs: @LostOnion.

In November, in beloved Hull, we staged the first performance of Other Ranks, at Kardomah94. This is John Robinson’s epic poem about The Hull Pals in World War One, with music by some trombonist. It got the project off to a flying start, and we will be developing the work for more performances later in the year. Any patrons of the arts reading this are welcome to discuss further opportunities for this unique project, which has ACE funding.
