A fair amount of gearing-up is going on for many good reasons this month.
The Blowpipes have suddenly burst out of hibernation, there will be trombone poetry on the radio, and even that long-lost duo, ruM, will be appearing in a cellar.
There will be a few strong doses of heavy-duty Latin Jazz this month too.
The Blowpipes will feature Raph Clarkson and Dan Hewson alongside the usual MD, with the occasional outburst of poetry to confuse passers-by.
Mike Walter has organized a joint effort at the Hundred Years Gallery, combining his solo project, Mouth, with a reunion for our duo, ruM, and a trombone poetry set.
At the end of the month, Ivor Kallin has invited some trombonist to share some tracks and the odd poem on Resonance FM.
