This month’s shenanigans include a return, after a year, to a buoyant setting, up the hill from St Pancras Station. We can only hope there’ll be no return visit by the monsoon too.
A week later, we move from a barge to a launch: this trombone has been hooting in the Overground Collective for some years, and the band’s composer, Paulo Duarte, will finally be presenting the debut album at the Vortex.
For a much longer period of time, this trombone has been remarkably lucky to have played a part in a quintet, sextet and septet directed by that outstanding composer and pianist, Roland Perrin, along with many other life-changing musical adventures. Help us celebrate his birthday at the legendary 606 Club this month.
