Good to play at Scaledown, again, which has been a happy recurrence since trombone poetry first appeared there in 2006. Not so good to sit through the most irritatingly vacuous blob of smugness ever suffered at even the worst open mic event, but you can’t win ’em all. Photos of the interesting people were tweeted.
The revival of Click Beetle has brought a string of unexpected gigs at short notice, in Limehouse, Waterloo and Walworth, with the Waterloo gig immediately re-booked (see below). The startled deer look is fading now.
