The Great Revamp is still incomplete. Perhaps it always will be, but we must move on, show signs of life. Various things that might have been expected by now haven’t come about but there are new shoots poking out of the debris.
The famous paperback has already been selling well at some gigs, thanks to kindly bandleaders, and there will, honestly, be a mail order thing set up here any moment now.
Meanwhile, the trombone will be a-hooting here and there this month, there’ll be a couple of Snowboy gigs next month and in June, three events in beloved Hull. Details to follow.
The Mick Collins Legacy Jazz Orchestra is also now regularly playing on the first Monday of the month in Sundridge Park: see newsletters.
