After a kind of absent August, we have a happy variety of events lined up for September, even including an outburst of Trombone Poetry up in Stoke Newington, a zone I rarely seem to get to these days. In fact this month will have a lot more Hackney in it than usual, I’m glad to say.
Nostalgia washes through the nervous system, recalling the old days in a street off Mare Street: King Edward’s Road, or as I called it, Spud Row. Maybe one day I should do a book called East.
