Trombonicle 91 / learnings

The main poetical event in April was the little workshop offered to the Temple of Ideas: BEYOND THE HAIKU : the marinet, beiku, tankard and kafkard. The forms and rules of these simple designs were outlined with examples from the books shown below and those in attendance were invited to try writing their own poems. Quite a few haiku were produced, which wasn’t very beyonderly, but no doubt by now there will be many more sightings of hunched figures scribbling tankards in boozers across London.


London had much to offer last month, with various helpings of enlightenment freely given out here and there. In a nutshell, these were:
