Trombonicle 62 / up north

Turner's Old Star
Fig. 1

November brings a few far-flung gigs across England, including an experimental Trombone Poetry event with the poet John Robinson and percussionist Gary Hammond up in our beloved Hull. This will be a collective sharing of new poetry by John and me and new music composed and/or improvised by Gary and me. Details are still being finalized but there will be updates on Txitter. All being well, this may be the springboard for a bigger event next year and possibly even a book.

Also new this month is a paperbackBeiku – that hasn’t been officially launched yet, but which will be available at all the events below, just in time to solve your gift crises this winter.

Meanwhile, work continues in many arduous environments (see Fig.1) to complete another book, Kneptune, in time for its launch in the Spring.
